Rubber gaiters (gear stick and handbrake)

Hello,
I'm on the hunt for an original, new or old stock rubber gear stick and handbrake gaiter. Looking back through past threads, it appears that it's a Ford part No. 6112048.

Some of these firms appear out of business now, so has anybody had any experience recently at trying to get hold of one? Trying to keep it as OEM as possible. Can't see anything on Ebay or usual suppliers websites...

I think I ended up with a 1990s Fiesta gear gaiter, though I also bought one from the MGBeehive, and IIRC it would have fitted.
The brake one was the big Ford one I bought on Ebay, but I did have to cut it down a bit to fit.
Have you looked on the Alternative Chimaera Parts List?

THis is the style you want for the handbrake, it just depends if the base is wide enough to enable you to rivet it in place.

Thanks for the heads up. Not original, but if the emails I've sent off to Ford parts suppliers turn back with no results, I'll have to settle for one of those.

Well, turns out that despite it being on the website, they don't have any in stock. Now been issued a refund.
