spare gear knob

hi, I have a spare gear knob, in fact never used because the Reverse is diff position to my car-
gear knob is---
1 3 5
2 4 R

If anyone wants it, let me know and ill send it on..

Are the gear setting different between chims and griffith, or being tvr is each car different.

I think the Rover gear box fitted to the early cars had the reverse on the left whilst the later Borg Warner boxes had the reverse on the right as per your gear knob.

I'm after a replacement one too, the one I have is quite scratched by a previous owner. Does anyone know where I can get a new one - not that taken by the Leven ones and would like to stick with the original one.

i agree with you about the leven one-looks rediculous imho,i bought one from tvr for just over £20+vat for my tuscan-tvr's alloy handbrakes are also very reasonably priced compared to aftermarket ones,but i dont know wheather the tuscans fit the griff?

Leven do the classic 'ball' type as well.

I put one on the Griff & it looks just like the origonal.

I changed my Griff's for a readily available gearknob from a different manufacturer of sports car that compliments the leven accessories and heater controls nicely - IMHO of course...

Actually Mike, it is from the humble MGF/MGTF but that's only between you and me ok?
