ACT metallic manifold gaskets

I have a leaking exhaust manifold - 4 into 1 joint, and will be taking the manifold off to repair it.

As I am just taking one side off, and the gasket is not blowing can these metal gaskets be re-used with some exhaust sealant?

I can get the normal gaskets out here (ER6733) from the Land Rover dealer but is it OK to replace the ACT ones with these?

I was tempted to buy the ACT set with the arp bolts and nordlocks but as I only need one side, but they come to nearly 100 euros!

As its such a Pain to remove the manifolds I'd put in new gaskets.

Also what is the right amount of tailpipe that should stick out the back of the car.

Mine measures 45mm from the top of the pipe back to the fibreglass but I have seen pictures of cars with tailpipes more or less level with the rear of the car so not sure what is right.
