Label on ECU

Can anyone shed any light on the label on my ECU?

For ref I have a 4.0, I'm guessing it says 4.5 and not A.5

Just guessing but I'd give Dom a call at TVR Power and see if he could shed any light on it.

Yes, as you worked out, that says 4.5 Powers special chip. If you want a definitive as to what's in there, ask Dom at TVR Power. Might involve sending it to him.

Does your car run fine on it? All the ECUs are the same except for the chip.

Thanks Guy's, car runs very well on it. I was just curious what the markings meant really. Just seemed strange to have a Chip for a 4.5 in a 4.0.

I'll contact Dom at some point to see if he can shed any light on it, but for now it runs ok so "If it ain't broke..."

Not utterly sure that a 4.0 and a 4.5 are that different - similar heads etc. and anyway, someone may have changed the chip without removing the label.
