37 years old,
1 fault claim (someone slashed the roof of the Audi S4 but as they didn't catch anyone I get the blame)
1 SP30 (6 points and £600 fine)

All with a potential agreed valuation of £25000.

Footman James.
£250 premium

Classicline.
£270 premium

Mannings.
£460 premium

I really wanted mannings to be closer after hearing so many good things about them on here but I'm not sure I want to pay almost double on a "just in case".

No matter who you're with just now, Which would you choose ?

I was with Mannings my first year. I needed more miles, they said no.

I shopped around and found Classicline.
Midway through my first year with them I modified the car big time......no problem.
Shortly after I asked for 10,000 miles a year. They gave me a sensible quote.
They always answer the phone in seconds, positive and pleasant to deal with.
I have unlimited miles, track days, not far short of your value, loads of mods, £460 a year.

Called then today to see about my son-in-law's insurance. The policy is on a car that I used to drive and still own, so in my name. Wanted to add his wife, my daughter to the policy at renewal. Their quote was as cheap as the best on the Meerkat.

Never used the third one you list.

I have a 1995 Chimaera and was with Mannings for 6 years who were very good. Now my Chim is 20 years old Footman James covered me on their classic policy which reduced my insurance to £130 p.a (from around £600 previously)
No complaints so far.

Footman James for me, came out at half the price of Classicline with 10k miles and all mods declared, excellent service from them as well.

£206/yr with 10k miles on a 4.7 Cerbera agreed value at £25k.

Including track days?
Then I need a quote come February, when my renewal comes up, I think.

FJ insured mt car for 10 years when it was owned by someone else, when I called they wouldn't insure it because it was modified!

Classicline have been brilliant with me, easy cover for trackdays, simple agreed valuations and very helpful.

Are they all on classic policies? The Manning one may well not be, given the difference in premium. If they are on classic you don't get NCB, and each year is treated as an "new stand alone" policy. I've the wedge on a classic, but just moved the hairdresser to a standard to get some NCB's.
