TBH I've been on PH from virtually the start and as numbers increased, unfortunately the quality of the forums deteriorated BUT there are still a lot of great contributors on here with a whole heap of knowledge.
I don't do twitter or facebook so I'm here for the duration.
There was a similar thread a while ago on the PH Caterham forum but many were departing the Lotus7/Blatchat site too.
My only gripe is the front page which is now unreadable so I skip straight to the forums

only the oldies get it 
This is flaming bad form,, loosing age old and influential informed people who also freely give their time to post up and help others,, can't even debate stuff, knocking posts on the head for no useful reason, then I can ask a simple question to a water ingress problem on my Tvr and a Helpfull piston header sends me a link,, five minutes later I've ordered the product to solve my problem, £12.95 so not a big deal,, pistonheads and the people on it are supporting and indirectly helping hundreds of companies to do business,,, were bombarded by intellectually censored products,,, I was looking ar wheels earlier,,, come on here and bobs your fanny aunt,,, wheel companies advertising at me,,,
It's an open book in some cases which seems fair and proper and doesn't seen to contravene some f
kers rules,,
Yet a really honest useful idea in the Chimaera art work drawing got Taken down,,,why exactly when I can come here and freely get directed to almost any product or service that's required to keep my car alive,,,
That is the whole reason for pistonheads original idea was it not,,, it's ok Big Al,, rant over,,,
Pulling down that glorious thread trying to drum up interest in a piece of art work to celebrate our cars is like stopping us from saying buy from ACT, or Tvr Parts or whoever,, your not stopping us to help all those businesses,,
If there's copywright issues over the use of the Chimaera image etc then fair enough but no real explanation was given,,
It's left a bad taste in our Tvr mouths,, the forum has been dead ever since,,
It's a picture of a famous and fantastic car,,, it should be done,,,Pistonheads should assist not stop it,,
