Coverdale carpets, anyone fitted them ?

I’m just about to order a carpet set from Coverdale, but supplying my own binding tape, as their samples weren’t an exact match to leather in the car. Coverdale need 25m of 1 ¼ inch and 2.5 m of 2 ¼ inch tape to bind the carpets.
Anyone fitted one of their carpets to a ’93 chim know where the wider binding is, as the binding I’ve got is only available in the 1 ¼ width. Pockets behind the seats ?? Can’t think where else it could be

Paul, these are the 2 biggest pieces out of all the carpet from what I can remember. Coverdale didn't send me a plan, I just used the old pieces that I ripped out to identify the replacement pieces.
The tunnel pieces tuck right up under the bottom of the dash (bit of a job - I used a flat piece of metal and "poked" it through), and finish near the pedals, I think the passenger side stops short of the battery compartment. Don't forget to take off the leather gubbins / gator on top of the tunnel first. The rear end of carpet tucks into the cubby hole. I know if you don't have these pieces then this info is irrelevant at the moment, but just maybe it will give you an indication of the shape, and what you're looking for?
Failing this, go to the fridge and crack open a few tinny's.

Did you have to order the tunnel bits separately? as Coverdale have said I have got all the pieces they normally supply and they are definately not there.
I have sent some pictures so they can see which bits I mean.
I have asked them to look at previous orders so they can see any faults with mine.
I've taken your advise and am having some tin's as the job is now at a standstil.

Mine cost about £220 but that's the expensive 80/20 wool plus some underfelt that I didn't use and three or four tins of glue. I think if you have acrylic carpet it's about £170.
The bits I was missing were the door panels. I called Coverdale to ask about them and were told that as Chimaera doors varied with age (?) these were supplied seperately. Oh, and they didn't have them in my colour

No all the pieces were there - except as already stated the pieces for the door cards, which I had to order as an "extra" but you can ask for any size you want, I think I asked for 2 linear metres so as to give me a little extra to play with (which I don't need - but it may come in handy in the future)
Hope it all works itself out I know how daunting it can be!

any idea what the quality of the acrylic carpet is like. It seems a bit daft to me having wool ( as i do at the mo) in a convertible...( as some point its going to get wet...
I think with the door cards they probably took the pattens from a car with full Hide, as all the full hide cars i've seen have leather on the doors raher than carpet...

Ironically I'm replacing my alacantra door cards with carpet as I really don't like the look of the single colour door interior as opposed to the top "ashtray" section, and the bottom "handle" section with a contrasting carpet colour in between.
Regarding the carpet quality, I've ordered the cheaper one as I couldn't see any point in putting a wool mix carpet into a situation where it was going to get wet, and potentially rot. Whilst not as plush as the 80/20 wool mix, its still not a bad carpet.
Now all I need to do is actually get my arse into gear and fit the set, rather than aving Coverdale's finest sat in the shed..
Just received my set today - 27 pieces. I counted 28 - Coverdale are sending me a diagram to check!
Have to say it looks ab fab, I'm changing the colour to a blue from butterscotch and it does look very smart indeed. Bound in something close to magnolia, a new colour for Cioverdal I think.
Looking forward to fitment (not!)

I'm puzzled about the cubby hole flaps - why is the binding not stitched down? Have others had that? It looks delibarate as 1/3 of the binding is fully stitched down, the rest is only stitched one side.

The 'front' (carpet) fits to the glass sheet first, so the edging is glued to the sheet. The backing (inside of the cubby) is glued over the top. You will see it clearly when you disassemble the originals.
Assuming the Coverdale stuff is just a copy of the original method.
