moving AFM

Hi , New to TVR and need to ask a question.I have read a lot about the AFM to plenum hose being restrictive because of not being smooth and having tight bend.I understand the smooth part , the question- is there any reason why the AFM can't be moved away from the plenum to reduce the tightness of the bend and allow it to flow more easily. I wait with breathless anticipation cheers Keith

No reason at all why it cannot be moved a couple of inches.

But if not then moving it won't do it any harm but it's the exhaust heat you just want to be careful of,,, you can't really get away from it,,

Never understood why TVR never drew air directly through the left front wing space- just needed some nice grills on the outside to let the air in. It would be cold air, and the pipework could be kept straight in the process.

Wouldn't there be sufficient airflow from the little grilles anyway?
