Get my first Chimera next week. Paid a deposit today, just waiting for the seller to change the plates over.

Its a 1994 4.0 model, dark metallic blue with cream/blue interior. And its in absolutely pristine condition inside and out, my mechanical friend checked it over today and gave it a huge thumbs up. Going to order a new sony radio/mp3/mp3 changer system for it (although I doubt I'll listen to it much for the first few days!), and then book myself a ride-drive course.

I can't bloody wait!

Congrats, I picked mine up on the 4th and have found some truly unbelievable excuses to go out in it. Fitted a new head unit and changer the day after buying it and have hardly switched it on.

Did my Ride Drive cse last sunday and can highly recommend it. You'll learn more than you expect.

Aye, it was the second one, sold to me by the South Yorkshire regional officer for the TVR club. I think I've been quite lucky in finding it.

I'd have it right now, but unfortunately it takes a few days to change the plates back (hes keeping his private reg).

GAH!

Silly banks. Transfer of money from the buyer of my car to my account takes hours. Then, unless you instruct my bank to tranfer funds before 1100, they don't guarantee the same day transfer!

So it looks like I'll have to get it tomorrow. DAMMIT!
