Alarm siren

Hi, starting to think about getting back on the road and I have found that the alarm siren has stopped working. So if I set the alarm and trigger it by reaching in to open a door (roof is down) the alarm triggers, the hazard flash, but no siren sound! Anyone know where the actual siren is located?

Don't know the age of yours or if it's on the original alarm but mine is a 2000 with an original meta alarm,the siren is mounted to the nearside behind the main slot of the large grill area is near the airfilter area

Yes its located to the right of the air filter. The original unit has a battery backup and if thats is knackered you will need a new siren. I brought one from Abacus Alarms and couldn't work out how to fit it but Dave at HF solutions sorted it for me.
