Passenger Door Button - No access

I've read through the previous threads on external door entry problems. From those, I've concluded that I must have a problem with the door button. I've noticed that the button 'cover' is missing (possible damp ingress) and that the button has no effect/makes no noise (so a solenoid or wire problem can be discounted).

With that knowledge, I assume the problem must be with the button's electrical connections in the wing mirror.

Can anyone advise the best way to resolve this? Also, how do I remove the mirror to gain access?

I thought you meant a proper door button on the rear wing for a bit - I might have been able to help then but with these no electrical thingies I haven't a clue

I don't understand your logic here. If the button makes no noise, how can you discount the solenoid? Have you 'hot wired' the solenoid to prove it's firing the door? Have you checked the fuses? I can't remember the fuses on my Chim, but my Cerb has seperate fuses for each door.

To get inside the mirror you need to remove the glass - needs lots of bottle to do that!

Try getting to it via the speaker hole, worked for me when a wire connector came loose on my drivers door.
