Year of the car might help, along with a little more explanation. Is the bulb glowing with the ignition off? - if so you have a serious problem. Mine has a single flasher relay, so if other side is ok this is not the problem. If the problem is only with ignition on (or you have an aftermarket fan run on kit) the indicators are known to glow when there is a bad earth to the front of the chassis (under the radiator) - this should only show up if cooling fans, heater fan or headlights (which share the earth) are operated.

after months of searching i've got my chimera, however after taking it out for a good run today, the left hand indicator has remained on. not flashing just glowing. any ideas apart from removing the bulbs?
The chimera is a 1995, the front, side and rear indicator light remained on even after the ignition was off. looked at some of the fuses and relays, removing them one by one, but the lights stayed on. When i went back out 1/2 hour later they had gone out, i started the car and put the indicators on, switched off and all was ok. There are a couple of lights on the centre consol behind the handbrake, one is green and one is red, these come on and off a different times during driving, i don't know if they are something to do with the alarm.
