Radio panel vener cracked

I`ve noticed that the veneer on my radio panel has started to crack and come away from the metal backing.
The car is my current daily transport so i dont fancy driving for a few weeks without it while being reveneered. Does anybody have an early type for sale either excellent condition or in need of veneering please.

Has it gone too far for a touch of contact adhesive, two matchsticks and fiddly fingers?

I spoke to Malcolm at London carriage co today and he quoted £101 all in to reveneer and promised it in about a week. Reckon thats the way to go and just put up with loose switches for a week or so.
