I wondered if this would appear! Unfortunately, circumstances have been forced upon me (separation) so I will be leaving the fold temporarily, until my finances change. I have learned some valuable lessons, the first being that TVR's are cheaper to run than women.

I would like to thank all the great people whom have helped or I have met whilst contributing on here. This is possibly the best and most informative forum I've seen, with real passion for the marque.

I'm very sad to see her go, but in the words of Arnold... "I'll be back!"

Sorry to see you leave the fold. We didn't meet but shared info along the way, plus a common respect for Mr Taylor in West Malling. Good luck for the future and hope to see you return soon. Keep up the fantastic photography too!

sorry to hear the two pieces of bad news!

A mate of mine had something similar and sold it with the agreement to buy it back at point in the future, when circumstances allowed. It took a couple of years but it worked out for everyone!

Was in the same situation a few years back, the chim has to go. I wasn't gone for long and returned with a Tuscan, which was the TVR I've always wanted.

Anyone who was here in "the old days" will remember what was affectionately known as the " for toys" program put forward by my dear ex-wife who felt that it would be reasonable to say that I could have a TVR if she could have another kid ...

... however she made the mistake one day of admitting that she 'would never let me have a TVR while she had a say in it'.

Oddly she thought that was an ultimatum whereas I took it as her tacit acceptance that there was a choice to be made that she was happy for me to make.

Cost me £70k to get shot of her but they do say that nothing worthwile is ever cheap...
