modified sports exhaust

Ok so maybe im getting old but my chimaera is little loud and i keep waking my village as i come home so does anybody want to swap a standard exhaust for a modified noisy one the silencer has been stripped and the perforated tubing removed and replaced with 302 stainless tubes so now it sets off car alarms and pops bangs and upsets the neighbours
so if you are near somerset and would like to annoy your neighbours drop me a line

On a more serious note, I thought that the exhaust mod could be reversed; have you checked with your local garage?

were you pi**ing them off on tickover?

thinking of getting the noisy one fitted, but unsure how loud it would be for my village, which I glide thru on tickover.

Yes the exhaust mod can be reversed but......
I am my local garage and i am lazy
It would be easier to swap an exhaust than take mine off grind the end seam of the box off seperate the box
remove the ton of horrible dirty itchy fibreglass swap the pipes back ,pack the fibreglass back in and reweld
Also as i did such a great job originally i thought someone else might appreciate it rather than spend a load of cash
Yes its very noisy on tickover in a very quiet Somerset village at 1.30 am
but it does sound great and im still im two minds also i always get free track passes to Castle combe every may and it wont pass the noise test without work

Far enough, sounds like a complete PITA.

Would it pass the noise regs at CC with the ACT tail silencers?

i had a letter from cc saying that due to a noise complaint they have reduced the noise by 4 db which is a lot!!!
