Different clutch problem

I think.

Whilst it used to be fine, I now can't move away in first gear without having quite a lot of revs in, as it feels like the car will stall otherwise.

Does this sound like a simple fix/clutch problem/gearbox problem etc? Will it be horrendously expensive?

Doesn't sound like clutch at all. This sounds like a low end torque problem. Maybe fuel starvation, i.e. enough to spin the engine but too lean to offer any real power.

Yeah, that's much more what it's like actually. I'm not very good at describing car stuff.

How easy is something like this to rectify?
