Front light loom path

Am I right in thinking that the front lights (etc) are feed by part of the wiring look that passes up the inside of one of the front wings? I'm blowed if I can find it!

I had assumed that it ran up the offside wing from the fuse box but I can't see anything obvious.

Am I looking in the right place?

All the main feeds for the front of the car run down the inside of the nearside wing(certainly on my 2000 car anyway)

Follow-up question. Do you know if it is a separate piece with connectors or part of the main loop?

On my 1998 Chim there is a connector just in the wing after the loom has passed from the cabin into the passenger front wing.

No not really.
Just behind the air vent on the passenger side the loom passes through a hole into the wing, Its wrapped in foam rubber to stop the loom chafing against the fibre glass. If you pull the loom back through about 6 inches you will get to the connector. Access to the area by undoing the map pocket.

I've never looked but this access panel might help you find the loom.

Thanks - I've found it. I suspect the foam is original as it's pretty crumbly.
