Cracked new leather door cards

I'm very upset after finding substantial damage to my new leather door cards , both are cracked from water ingress.water came in from the back.
Can anyone point me in the right direction where to find replacement plastic door membranes which for some reason were not fitted
Anyone got any idea where and how they fit? thanks

Heavy duty bin bag and Gaffer tape

Mine were literally just a 5mm thick rubber sheet glued to the side of the door and tucked in at the bottom

Photo stolen from google... exactly the same as this that he's folded over and hung up..

I used thick polythene cut to shape and then double sided sticky tape around the edges to hold it in place.

What colour are your door cards Daz?

They are grey leather and have cracked around the speakers . where is it stuck ? Inside the door or where the panel fixes .

That's a shame, I've got a leather spare passenger door card in Prussian Blue.

Ok there are two plastic covers, one on the inside of the door that has a flap over the rear of the speaker to deflect water and then another sheet across the whole of the door panel just behind the door card (but cut around the speaker).

Shower curtains cut and stuck using double sided tape. I looked for the originals no one seems to have any.

Difficult to see in the pics, but that doesn't look like a crack, it looks like a water mark where the leather has got wet then dried out.

Get some leather cleaner on it, then some leather conditioner and it will be good to go
