Hi guys, bit of advice please,,canems eco fitted with updated injectors and few other mods, going to lloyds for final mapping in a couple of weeks but I feel that it maybe wise to upgrade the pump a bitt and change the filter.
I have a new variable fuel reg fitted with gauge but pressures seem a bit unstable and the last thing I want is fuel problems during tuning
COG I know updated his but I can't find a reference for the pump he used,I don't want to go mad and use the Bosch 040 (I believe that is the number) but was looking for an increased capacity hopefully within the electrical capacity of the existing wiring
Any thoughts
Thanks rich

Get rid of the fuel reg and fit the oe bosche 3bar (bmw fleabay)

I fitted the fuel pump fitted to the cerb good for 450hp. The 08 pump gave trouble . flow rate was to great

Then upgrade the wiring by fitting a relay and new live feed. .

I am upgrading the pump but not too manic like the 044 however the pump inlet is now 12mm so am fitting the cerbera fuel filter which will allow me to fit screwed barbs of the right size for the pump pipe work. Ie was 8mm now 12 so it will avoid having reducers etc,yes the pump pulls more amps so I will also do the relay upgrade
The reg is an adjustable to 5 bar,new from tvr parts It could possibly be faulty but as the engine is upgraded a bit I want to make sure constant pressure and delivery is being achieved from the pump end before it goes on the rollers, the registered pressure on my gauge for the fuel seems a bit variable at the mo
