Chimaera Wing Mirror Joystick

Hi Chaps. Does anyone know where I can get hold of a joystick switch for controlling my electric wing mirrors? I currently have the left/right switch and separate joystick but the joystick has broken.

I'm sure someone somewhere mentioned it as a Vauxhall part?

Hi Phil. Yes I heard the same and have searched vaxhall switches for hours and not come across one so I'm not sure if that's right. I'll let you know if I find anything.

Can't be sure but mine doesn't look like that, its a tacky plastic pyramid shape. You pull the pyramid off and it unwinds from the top collar to remove the offending article...not that it helps much when you don't have a replacement.

It is a Range Rover Classic item. Same as my V8S. I managed to get one off the bay of pigs.

Are you sure the issue is with the toggle? There is a relay that directs up/down toggle movements to L>R. When mine failed, all movements translated to only side to side movements. The connectors on the back are tiny and easily knocked off the toggle.

Ah ok...seems off the sd1 as well. Part BRC9150 contains the stick - Rimmerbros had some at one point...probably long discontinued.

Good old TVR then! Mine is a Fiesta style one on my 94 car so could be someone replaced it or TVR fitted it originally
