Help - Insurance for just one day?

Just booked the Chim in for a service at TVR Power and am struggling to get insurance cover for the T350 courtesy car. My Classicline policy is for second car use only. I really want to use the guys in Coventry after all the good things that have been said on here. I'm travelling from Halifax and staying overnight, hence needing a car for 24 hours or so. Seems a real shame to miss out on driving a T350!

I don't suppose anyone has ever come across this and has a magical solution? Any advice would be appreciated.

Try phoning your insurer, mine swapped cars for the service period for a small admin fee. Your own car should be covered by the garage insurance for the same period.

Thanks Deeen. Forgot to mention, I've already tried pleading with my insurer but they're ademant that they won't cover me due to being on a second car policy. Looks like a thrilling euro-box hire car might be the only solution - a real shame
