Hood stitching

I want to sew the Velcro back on to my hood where it has come away, what thread should I use.

I did mine with waxed thread commonly used for jewellery making and a speedy sticher.
Remove all the old stiching and take a bit of time and care to get equal stich lengths and you will achieve a nice and strong repair.
I also did a renovo recolour and seal and it came up really well
