GKN diff...Seals?

No, but you need to index the front flange nut against the pinion thread inc turns then when you fit the new seal and flange you removed previously over tighten said indexed nut 10/15 degrees approx thus making sure you pinch the assembly together inc the collapsible spacer and bearings without upsetting the bearings pre-load, if you dont and just set it back to where you removed the nut you will suffer trouble

Now you buy some engineer's blue
And set the preload as dictated by the markings on the the teeth once Said blue has been applied and the pinion and crownwheel rotated
Thanks, Rigga...And set the preload as dictated by the markings on the the teeth once Said blue has been applied and the pinion and crownwheel rotated
I'm thinking that I should change the output seals, whilst it's open - I'm not familiar with this diff, being a motorcycle guy...Do I undo the end-cap lookin' bolts, to remove the output flanges? If so, are there torque settings, etc.,?
Sorry for being an 'erbet.!!
