Front number plate location

Changed my air filter today and realised its tucked behind the front number plate, is this affecting my performance by blocking the air flow.

There is plenty of air space around the filter and the opening at the front is plenty big enough to supply it. It is not forced induction at the filter so direct line to direction of motion is not required. The air in the nose is likely to have a positive pressure due to vehicle motion which will enhance air supply to the filter. I would suggest increasing the size of the opening will not result in more induction air

Thanks for that, was a little concerned tbh but mind put to rest now
