Momo steering wheel

has been asked before, I know, however there were different answers given to that question:
I'd like to swap my steering wheel with a wooden one, the Momo Fighter seems to match perfectly.
I asked at Halfords but they didn't know what the matching boss kit was.
The forum search revealed that it's supposed to be a Vauchall kit (Calibra, Astra) but thre seems to be a problem with the stalks.
Can anyone who fitted the Fighter please confirm what kit was used?

Hi, I've fitted the Momo wooden fighter steering wheel to my chim. Used the calibra fitting kit as steering column is Vauxhall cavalier, identical to Calibra. Fitted OK. There were no problems with the control stalks. Everything fitted OK. Think the kit was a bit expensive though at £35.

Cheers mgman, it was this 1st hand experience I was after
2 quick ones:
- does the wood match the dashboard?
- can you use the TVR badge?

I thought I read somewhere here once before that fitting a Momo required a mod to the casing around the steering colum.
Is this wrong?
Is there no solution if you just want to un-do the allen bolts and bolt on a new wheel? Is the picth different for different manufacturers of steering wheel?

I didnt need any work to the steering casing, just the correct Momo boss kit.
No impact to the stalks (I had already fitted the Leven ones).
I used the TVR badge and horn button instead of the Momo supplied centre.
The 'Fighter' wheel comes with 2 strategically placed leather hand grips, so the previously mnetioned 'hot spot' problem has never happened on mine.

As for your questions regarding the Momo Fighter wheel. The wood is not a perfect match, but I think it is reasonable all things considered. No, the TVR horn centre ring is too large, so I fitted the Momo one and found a TVR adhesive round badge at a car show that fitted the centre on the momo horn push ok
