Fuel map question

Just looking over the Rovergauge info and I see that my Fuel Map for a '99 Chimaera should be Map '5' 'UK Cat' however I've now gone cat free which looks like it should be Map '2' 'UK non cat'. Is this an issue, should my Map be updated to Map 2?

Map 5 runs perfectly well without the catalysts, as long as you leave the lambda probes in. The only reason to switch to the green map (2) is if you have a shunting issue or if you want pops and bangs on the over run, but if you current map runs smoothly, leave it alone. The green map will need tuning for your application anyway- its not suitable as it is now.

Thanks for the swift response, I shall stick with Map 5, I would like more pops but it doesn't appear to be worth the hassle
