Mirror troubles

Hi everyone,

Hoping someone can help. Am having trouble with my wing mirrors! The drivers side is worst. I am struggling to adjust. Attached is a picture of what I see in my driver's mirror... I am only 6ft and I don't think I should have to be ducking down to see behind me!

Anyone have a good guide on how to adjust these? It's a 95`.

Yes mine does. This however is in the fully up position!

Have you tried pushing the top edge of the mirror to raise it "manually"? I think it may just be in need of a range reset

The outer casing can be moved , my guess is that Your mirror is loose on its fixing, and probably shakes as you either drive along or close the door? That or it was fitted incorrectly and the vertical mount is twisted in the mirror frame. Is it loose?

I am not aware of anything being loose. It doesn't shake as far as I have noticed. The mirror has a good range of movement itself so I don't think it needs a "reset".
it's left me a little confused. Will try and take a look.

The pedestal is probably in the wrong position, take all of the casing off of the mirror and figure out how to twist the entire thing around on the door. Can't remember exactly how to do it but I do know know that I had a big pair of grips in my hand.

Hmmm that's odd just had a play. Not taken anything apart and especially the drivers side appears to be sitting in a much better position. No idea how it happened... Hopefully it will stay in that position. Will update at the weekend!
