Alcantara trim.?

Yes I know im asking a lot of questions, but im on the steep uphill learning curve with theses TVR vehicles...

So.
Has anybody done any re-trimming in Alcantara, in there Chimaera.
Ie steering wheel, center console, seats, door cards, etc etc...

If so, how do you find it.?
does it wear well.?

Just looking into getting some bits of trim done in my car, and was contemplating the Alcantara route...

Yep, I did the dash and door cards a few years ago. No problem with wear or cleaning it. The hardest part is trimming it, especially for the dash when making holes. For what sort of feels like a flimsy material it can seriously blunt blades !

I much prefer it as no more wood to potentially crack and no reflections that are possible with 'metal' coverings.

Just dont use it on anything that gets wear- it scuffs up badly after a while. I made the mistake of using on some seats and within a couple of years they looked terrible.
