Missing water thermostat connector on rebuild

Almost at end of top end rebuild but cant locate spade connector for water thermostat

Top circle shows spade connector and water stat but believe spade is for oil warning switch in bottom circle.....

Any idea's where water stat connector could be (water temp gauge worked fine before btw)

The spade connector for the thermostat should be in the bundle that runs down the passenger side of the block. Should be identifiable by an inline resistor I think.

The oil pressure switch is in the bundle of wires from the drivers side of the engine.

I took a look Colon and stripped wires out of their protective harness and no spade adaptor

This pic below shows something connected to a water of some sort but don't know it's purpose!.

Any ideas.....

I'm not sure why the round connector is used but there's no spade connector to the water thermostat sender ...... Very strange

Someone in the fast has done a Range Rover temp sender mod. The spade connector I'd removed and the new connection made with the round connector you have. It's meant to give more accurate reading of water temp then the spade connector.
