Removed pads today to apply some Ceratec pad lubricant to see if it might cure the brake squeal
And found this pads have only done 400 miles ?

Is that pad shape from the TVR AP caliper?

The brake set up is hi spec 4 pot callipers withe grooved discs .

That looks like moisture damage. I've seen it before where people wash their car prior to winter storage

They don't squeal on the grooved rear disks in my car, nor does it do that to them.
I used copper slip when fitting them. Did you?

A mate had problems like this, different car but it turned out it was the grooved discs, the pad catching the groove edge and chipping the pads, changed for smooth discs and problem disappeared.

What I can't understand is that doesn't normally happen with grooved discs as far as I'm aware !
If the disc is warped then I can see this happening but my mate chucked his discs away so can't verify if rpthats what was causing his issue!
Pad knock off because of a warped disc could defo cause this as the pads loose and not necessarily touching the disc smoothly on initial contact.
