I have a 1998 400. Can someone tell me if Mobilube 1 SHC 75W 90 Fully Synthetic Gear Oil is the equivalent of SCH 80W 140.
If not what do I need to change the oils in the gearbox and the diff.
Many thanks,
G.

The 1998 Chimaera should have the T5 gearbox (reverse behind 5th) which should be filled with ATF. I use Dextron III.
I use Castrol Syntrax 75W140 LSD oil in my BTR diff as it is the closest that I can find easily. (You should have this diff on your car).

Definitely ATF Dextron II/III for the T5 gearbox although other (more expensive) options are available such as Royal Purple Syncromax. I've tried both and can't really tell the difference, even when sprint racing / hill climbing. I believe the correct oil for the BTR diff is Morris Lodexol semi synthetic 85w 140 (for LSD), which is what I always use without issue.
