If its stamped by Mole Valley every single time since 1998, I'd get the next service done by them. If the next owner hasn't heard of Austec or whoever you use, he'll think you've cut corners because you were selling the car.
You can then try explaining to him who they are (and that they've a great reputation), but you only get one chance to make a good 1st impression and you can't afford to put any doubt in the buyer's mind. There are too many Chims out there! Just IMO.

From what I've heard and people I've spoken too there is actually more respect for a lot of the indies than there is for the main dealers when it comes to servicing the older RV8 cars, indies make most of their money servicing this range of TVR and as such are possibly better informed/equipped to do a better job than some of the bigger, more expensive dealers. Remember that most potential buyers of your Chim will be enthusiasts or will have read up on the mark, therefore a reputable indie stamp in the log book shouldn't be at all off-putting.
TVRs are specialist cars, which (generally) seem to be bought by enthusiasts with a bit more knowledge than your average Joe looking for his next motor*.
Some indies are so well established and respected (e.g. Austec and David Batty), that a knowledgable buyer shouldn't be put off at all by them.
My Chim has a FTVRSH, but I won't think twice about giving it to Paul and Mike @ Austec for its next service. The service and the internal knowledge is superb, and if, when I come to sell it, the next would-be owner is put off by an Austec stamp, I wouldn't want to sell it to them anyway...
*I realise this is a massive generalisation, but of the TVR drivers that I've met, all of them are TVR enthusiasts, not merely owners.
