The engine was rebuilt in 2002 and only completed 2000 miles since?

Listing it in the sub-category "oil filler caps" may limit visibility. Perhaps the seller did an LS engine upgrade? Some more information would be good.

To me it doesnt really matter when it was rebuilt. Buying an unknown i would want to refresh it will shells rings cam etc. which isnt expensive. However Just bear in mind its the TVR 5ltr configuration so chances are it will have noisy little ends, so figure in a new set of pistons at 1k as well.

Had to giggle when I read that - "noisy little ends" reminds me of the grandchildren I can hear in the next room, waiting for their sausages, chips and beans.
