Headlamp bulbs - What type ?

Just reading the bible and it sounds a big job to get to the headlamp bulbs so I'd like to have two new ones ready to fit.
Halfords haven't heard of TVR's so I don't know which style to get.
Any ideas?
I need to do it today cause both my dip beams have now gone.

Suggest you upgrade to Osram Silver Star or the Philips Vision Plus which are 50% brighter and make a big difference. Try these:

Paul - it's not such a difficult job.

I found I could change mine without taking the wheels off. I just changed the bulbs with the wheels at full lock.

It does take some courage to get the craft knife under the inspection panel in order to cut it free of the sealant though

Also a good plan to wear long sleeves while poking around to minimise the risk of grazes etc.

Would deffo recommend going for the brighter bulbs - I have the Bosch ones fitted which make quite a difference...

Osram Silver Stars purchased from powerbulbs - definite improvement in headlights afterwards.

don't forget there are sometimes 4 self-tappers in the cover too - too much judicious tugging (arf ) before removing the screws and you might break the cover...

There may be more than 4 self tappers as previous bulbs changers may have added them to hold the cover on. Ensure you put the same srews in the same holes otherwise some will be loose and others you will be making the hole bigger.

Dont a think a 94 4.3 will have any covers, access is thro the grill, pre-dates wheelarch holes (particularly as carbon canister & purge valve are mounted where the covers are fitted later).
