I have a Cappuccino that I am breaking at the moment and the thought occurred that the seats will probably fit well in the TVR!

I know people struggle with finding seats that are thin enough and I don't know if anyone has tried it before?

If you have the time and inclination, you could do everyone a favour.
Unbolt your driver's seat (4 nuts underneath the car, as you probably know) and see if it does fit.
Photos for all to assess fit and appearance.

That would be really good if you can - we are always on the lookout for suitable seats.
Main issue is width, both of the seat and the back at shoulder height, but also seat base height, whether it reclines, and whether it holds you in place.

Do they have electric motors and/or heating elements?

There is one advert on Autotrader, and you can see half the seat, which looks quite nice.

Any chance of more photos, Ace?

I will do that next week actually because I need to remount the Cobra seat I have in my car anyways (remove the rails to make it sit lower). I will get some measurements and throw one of the Cappo seats in for some photos.

They will be up for sale in a week or so anyways so keep an eye out if they do fit. And yes they are nice seats, comfy and supportive.

Here you go guys. They are already provisionally sold (to an S3C owner) bt hopefully these dimensions might help if they come up for sale in the future.

They are great looking and very comfortable seats, and came up really well after a quick scrub.

Thanks for the photos - they do look good.
For everyone's reference, my car has Tuscan seats, which are a very snug fit in the Chimaera, and they are 20 inches across the seat base, 19 inches across the seat back.
The only other critical measurement is 15-16 inches wide at the narrowest point of the cabin, which is the bolt securing the bottom of the rear targa section (pram hood). This is 21 inches above the seat pad. It would be interesting to know how that compares to the Cappucino seat at that point please.

I have just measured 21 inches up from the seat pad and it is almost exactly at the base of the headrest, so where the above 16" measurement was taken.

I have to remove my Cobra seat later to send it for repair so will throw the Cappo seat in if I get a chance

Well they fit!

The original brackets stick almost straight down and would need cutting off as it makes them sit a bit high as standard but it gives you an idea. Also if I would have put the correct side in you can see there is a seat belt guide which would be nice to have

Thanks for doing that. Another good seat to add to the Chimaera-fit list.
