Mmm, nice! Don't they look great when they're all shiny like that?

Out of interest, why do people somtimes blank out their reg'no when posting poictures of their car? Is there some scam those ugly scrotes can pull of that I am mot aware of? Rich... ok I guess if someone has a similar car they could clone your number and escape speeding points, but what else?

Its not allways their car that they post with on here just pictures they have nicked off someone elses site and are claiming that its their's, sad but true !!!!

I seem to remember somone doing it with a 450 and the owner recognising his own car in his own front garden with a different number plate on it !!!!, it also happens in sprint as well.

Now where are the pictures of my F50 !!!

Personally I didn't want pictures of the plate /my car /my house / my name all in the same place. It's only a matter of time before you meet a car with the same reg no at a PH get together !!

I don't think it makes it that much harder for a scrote to get that info if they want it, but I have had people mail me through my profile "Nice car mate, where do you live ?"

Sorry I didn't reply

Nah MikeyT, they just take one look at your location in your profile and realise they'll not want to travel there....

It hasn't happenned loads, well not more than once actually, maybe I'm just overly suspicious, but R6CKT instantly identified where the car came from and had info on the vendor (who may or may not be dodgy / have spare sets of keys / be interested to know the current state of the car etc)
Anyway, unsolicited mail from hotmail accounts is dodgy in my book

MikeyT, can't see a picture in your profile, but I'm sure your car is lovely

So, when's everyone going on holiday this year ??

incouragible, actually I doidn't mean you at all, it was a 450 se (wedge) I was talking about there is a thread on here about it some where.
Probably a good idea not to put reg on / where you live etc etc I can see your point.
However with the TVR world being so small I guess you are going to get people who recognise either their old cars or other club members cars pretty easily as their arn't thatmany about

R6CKT,

Sorry mate, wasn't accussing you of having a go. If you could find that thread I'd be interested though. More embarrassing than putting the wrong picture online I reckon

PS I've nearly finished the car now, some photos on my profile if you're interested (including the one of the Griff )
