Independant inspector nears Newbury

Please help.

I am looking to buy a Chimaera 10 miles west of Newbury and want to know of a good local independant inspector.

Do they visit a private seller or do you have to take the car to a garage?

Is an independant inspection advisable and is there any other checks that need to be done on a car before purchasing?

Also, is there somewhere or something that can tell you what the price of a particular Chimaera is worth or is it a case of bench marking the car against other similar cars on the market>?

Do Chimaera prices fluctuate depending on the time of year?

Also, is it advisable to steer clear of TVR's that miss services even though the car has done very low mileage.

Yep, most soft tops do...

IMHO, yes... plenty of good ones out there.
