Cheap fuel pump

Stumbled across this in a magazine today, looks the same. Would not associate them with poor quality parts either, may be good just to keep as a spare in the boot to get you out of trouble.

Are you any good at finding a cheap oil pressure sender? http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_info.php?prod...
I can't find any for the Rover v8
Are there no 1/4" thread ones? I noticed mine looks like it has a 1/8" with an enlarging adaptor on it. This can't help with reading accuracy can it? Wouldn't a sender with a 1/4" thread than can go straight in be better?
Sorry forgot to say, thanks for posting the link!
Will order one anyway. Can't find any 1/4" at the mo.

Probably the one component I would not want to skimp on!

What are they about £40?
When I was exploring oil pressure senders I created this post:

This post is how I know for sure it lasted five years and it only cost me £13.90 at the time

There really is no need to pay £70 for one from a TVR parts specialist, the cheapo one of EBay gave me a much more accurate reading and saved me £56, who cares if it needs replacing every five years if it only costs £13.90?
I bet the expensive TVR parts one wouldn't last any longer than that anyway

My cheap EBay sender lasted 5 years, sure it leaked for the last two years but it was still giving accurate readings right up to when I removed it last weekend.
