I really, really should know better, I was so excited at taxing beastie this morning and heading up into Narridge (in Narferk) that I left the targa roof section bit thingy in the fecking garage... No problem, I'd checked the forecast and it wasn't going to rain until 3.... Loads of time... So, did Dunelm and spent over a 100 quid on bed linen (in there for hours coz I have no idea what size my beds are and there's too many choices) then went over to the Asian cash and carry (joined it last year, it's totally amazing.... if you like cooking and Asian food in particular then its a magic place to shop) and spent too long in there being uncharacteristically indecisive... Then figured I'd got time to stop off at the local for an (ahem) orange juice before the rain started... How wrong can a man be... damn the BBC, bloody incompetent amateurs... I got fecking soaked on the 2 mile drive home... couldn't go fast enough to keep the rain off because some half wit townie in a Chelsea tractor couldn't do more than 30 in the 60, and all the geriatrics following were too frightened to overtake because visibility was down to about 100 yards... Idiots.....

So my advice based on this very damp experience is... BBC weather forecasts.. never trust one... And... Targa top roof section thingy (and this is the important bit)... NEVER leave home without it...

I hate to disagree, but last nights forecast did show rain spreading north eastwards from the south west, with rain on and off all day. I didn't make any outdoor plans today based on yesterdays forcest frown

But I do agree, BBC is a bit hit 'n' miss sometimes. Hope you don't get a cold ratty wink

took out the 'n' typo :/

I have used meteox.com for a rain radar for years now.
Saved me on many occasions when I had left the roof down.
