I have a 99 chimaera and although the hazard warning lights work, the dashboard hazard warning switch no longer illuminates. Does anybody know if the light within the switch is repairable or not? It is a minor thing but it is the only that doesn't work on the car (oh, and the cigarette lighter)

You know it only illuminates when the hazard lights are actually in operation?

The light doesn't come on at all, whether I have pushed the button or the headlights are on

I know how to get the switch out, but not the answer to your question.
I would look tomorrow but unfortunately am out all the hours of daylight.
I can ask on Monday - am doing a track day with my TVR expert.
He, or one of the other 9 TVR owners on the track day, will know the answer.
