Chimaera wont start

Car wont start this morning,can here fuel pump priming but cant here click from starter solenoid,is this an imobiliser problem or something else.

I was under the impression if it was the immobiliser that the fuel pump wouldn't prime.

Pump and start are separate channels through the immobiliser so it is possible to have one without the other.
Plus the start channel through the mobiliser is the one that can burn out as it is possibly drawing more current than the circuit was designed for.

check the spade connector on the starter - that is what fires the solenoid.

Thanks for putting that to bed Steve...auto electrics never been my stong point.

Need to check you are getting the full 12+ volts to the small terminal on the starter motor solenoid when the key is turned to the start position.
