Chim in Denmark

I lived in Denmark for 4 years and will be going back to "Blighty" in about 3 weeks to hopefully get my first chim. I have read loads of interesting and sometimes worrying post on PH.Question is do they pack up all the time, when they do is it always a disaster story on the way to the bank????.Im looking to spend about £12-15K.I need to get something that can be fixed by a mechie that has never seen one before. what would be the best engine/ year to get. There are NO TVR dealers or independant dealers here in DK ,if you tell them your getting a TVR, they think it is some kind of illness!!! ( could be true!!)
So if you have one for sale with in the next month and you live within a reasonable distance from Hawrich, ( red and cream leather top of the list)i would be happy to hear from you.

I wouldn't worry to much about the Geography,You couldn't get further away from Blackpool than New Zealand.
We have 10 to 15 Tiv's here with no Dealer and we get by ok.
Just buy one thats been looked after.

Contrary to popular belief they do not have a reliability problem. just keep them serviced and driven and all will be well. I have had mine for 3 years without a single breakdown. I reckon my running costs excluding petrol is only about £1500 per year on a Dec 95 model. Just go get one and have fun!!!

have a chimeara 94 british racing green with tan interior 4 l with 56k on the clock. aluminum leven technology parts thoughout,6 cd (not that you need music in this car)power steering, electric windows ect. The car has already had lhd lighting conversion completed. might be looking for buyer *about 11k. car is in germany with full TVR service history. good condition can send pics if your interested or you can pop round, dependant where you are in holland

I lived in Copenhagen for 7 years , i ran a Wede 430 se for 2 years , i always used a local Rover dealer for servicing and they were great .

Just make sure you have a tame dealer in the UK who can UPS any spares to you .

And watch out for Skat far ....
