My brake fluid reservoir needs replacing. I've cut all the black silicone away and it's not popping out. How tf does this little bugger come out? Please don't tell me 'out of the passenger foot well'... cry
I hate it down there

It's a push fit into the master cylinder and do-able from the engine bay- from memory, there's two moulded spigots that fit into ports on the m/cyl, both sealed and retained by an o-ring - I remember when I changed mine it took quite a bit of body English to extract and re-fit... if you're sure the old one is scrap and you have a replacement (and it's correct), should be easy enough to remove the old one in bits if needs be, they're pretty brittle when aged. On refitting, lube the O-rings with some brake fluid to help it.

I think it's all Ford stuff same as my S Series, they are a bit more than Just O rings but ,yes, it should pull out. Easy on the S with plenty of room around it, maybe not quite so on a Chimaera?
