Pulling (not that sort)

I've just had an odd experience of 'pulling' when I accelerate in the chim, it's a bit like hitting the brake by accident when the revs hit around 2-3k in first and second gear then it seems to work through it? It's a bit disturbing, I don't have my bible with me and the search facility is disabled. Does anyone have any ideas please?

Mine did that when the temp sender unit was goosed......eventually got worse and worse (over a couple of days) until no fuel was getting through at all and it wouldn't start.

Cheers, it has been a bit lumpy recently at lower revs. Hope it gets me home tonight.

Would be my guess.

Try checking that the vacuum advance screws to the dizzie are tight - it commonly works loose. Some good indies have this on their service schedule.

Is it low on fuel and getting starved after going around a corner enthusiastically? That was mentioned under another topic recently. Oh and mine did it the other day, feels like the accelerator is closed when pushed down. Could be the ECU mapping.
