Rocker cover

Remind me please.

Can the nearside rocker cover be removed without disturbing the plenum ?

It looks tight bearing in mind the height of the rocker assembly inside !

Remove the plenum, it is only a 10 minute job.

Leave the throttle cable cone ted and lie the plenum inverted on an old towel on the windscreen.

Just rotate it off; there's loads of clearance.

Have fun on the other side with the heater rail if it's a serp

I have had them both off quite a few times before (but now getting forgetful). I remember the drivers side and the bloomin water pipes getting in the way, and the stupid little spacers grrrrr.

Take the opportunity to throw away the twin pipes, renew the heater hoses and run them under the inlet manifold.
