I bought a Bosch S4 096 battery from Euro Car Parts 2 years ago for my 450. Fits snugly in battery box and cranks brilliantly even in dead cold thumbup

Think it was £80 all in via their click and collect service.

Take the opportunity to buy a small hi power race battery and relocae it to the boot to give tour passengers loads more leg room.

Pm me if you want to discuss how I did it.

Something like this - adds about 7 inches to passenger leg room. Even my 6ft 7in TVR guy managed to sit comfortably.

Yep thats about what I have ....massive improvement...and I have also bonded in a new wooden plate that I've fixed the ECU and Fuseboard to. All now noce and tidy and away from stray boots of relaxing lofty long legged passengers.

was that done by Mat? I'm interested in a similar conversion.

Yes, Mat thought it through, sourced all the bits, and made that neat fitting. The roof etc all fit in fine.
He also ran the live feed direct to the starter, so that lower amperages now flow the other way through the crispy cable that runs between the starter and the fuse box area where the battery used to be. Starter whirls like a dervish now.
