Changes to Chims over the years?

Are there any major changes in a Chim (chasis/engine/body) depending on age?

Lots of changes, not sure what you call "major". There was a good article in Sprint last year, anyone remember which month? Was it June?

Someone asked this recently...

Door plungers replaced with under the mirror buttons...

Boot openeing hinge changed...

Buttons inside changed...

Rear lights...

Internal door opener moved..

Very late cars had faired in front lights…

Grill changed to Cerbie style one…

Indicator mesh replaced with different cutouts (like the Cerb)

Some others,

Boot lid changed around 97

Black bumper strip at the rear colour coded at about the same time

Bigger brakes on the 4.0L

Early cars had different Diff and Gearbox

plus revised Engine (less belts)

Wiper mechanisms different.

Digital odometer (stops that clicking, and also the "my odo's stopped on 999 thing)

The cold air blower was deleted.

Transparent number plates not required

The only time I've seen one on the road was when I saw myself in a shop window (which I don't do at every shop window you understand).
I was told they built 16 in 2002, but who knows??

James at TVR Mads had a 500 with covered lights for sale.

Later cars had slower colours. Cars made in 1994 had the fastest colours.
