Hi,

During my Chassis strip I have taken of the rear uprights.
A friend & I got one bearing nut loose but on trying the other we ended up playing See-Saw... and we ain't light & the levers were long :-)
(Yes I know it's a reverse thread, tried it both ways just in case)
So I took it to a local friendly garage... that accepts payment in Krispy Kreme dognuts :-)
He managed to get the nut off & remove them out the bearings.
He says this one is on the cusp but the other one is ferked.

So what I need to know is, whats my thingy called :-) & were can I buy them?

Cheers
Mark

That is your front hub.
They were originally off a Ford Sierra.
New ones are not that easy to find. If you can't find any, you may have to but a complete new upright, like the one below from TVR Carparts.

Make sure you are sitting down and have a stiff drink to hand before clicking on the link smile

Ooops, ballsed that up. Thinking is difficult you know...

Anyways, these are the REARS :-)
Can they be bought individually or do you have to buy the whole upright?

Cheers

Sierra rear hubs? Disk and drum are different so make sure you get the right ones. Quick ebay search gets a pair...

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252402916268

If these are what you need...

Magic,

I was wondering if there were new units that were a known quality without having to pay TVR tax :-)
But, 2nd hand may have to be the way to go
