loom wire question

Can anyone confirm the colours of the wires for the reversing light switch on the side of the T5(mines a 95 car) specifically the loom wires before the connector, i have two bare wires i believe they are green and black, looks like they've been pulled out of the connector at some point

Wiring diagram in Steve Heath book has them as green live to switch and light green/brown from switch to rev. lights?


but, hey, it's a TVR what colours had they got left in the stores that day? ...

thats great cheers, I'm not 100% on the colours as I'm away from the car but i do remember green so looks like I'm on the right track, thanks again

i also have a 95 thats in quite a lot of bits at the moment, if you can tell me exactly where the connector is i will try and take a picture of it tomorrow

its part of the hand brake switch loom by the gearstick it goes through the grp cover down to the gearbox

is the connector above or below?, i currently have the centre console off

i dont suppose its one of the connectors visible in my thread 'body lift' page 2, lower down this forum page?

On my 97 it is:-
white from ignition switch into fuse 8 then green to the switch on the gearbox then light green/brown to the lamp then to earth.

Wiring along the top of the tunnel can be a little confusing as it includes wiring for aircon which most of us don't have.

on mine the part of the loom in question are 4 wires, two for the reversing switch and two for the hand brake switch
