What do we reckon a freshly top hatted block is worth?

I am just weighing up options for my plethora of engines I have.

Hardly worth a £950 investment then.
I do have an offer off Dom to do a block for £750 though.

Take off the top hat linering and a basic block hasn't a huge value imho.

Yeah considering I picked up a complete Landy 4.6 for £300.
People are paying more for coffee tables scratchchin
I counted 11 engines so maybe its time to get busy and make a few quid towards the turbo build.

err yeah. Is that normal?

Let me think.....

1. Oldsmobile 5.0
2. Mopar 7.2 (440) with supercharger
3. Spare 7.2 block
4. 5.0 RV8 from last build, bottom end at Chesmans awaiting instruction
5. 5.0 Block with a damaged top hat liner
6. 4.6 Landy engine I stripped down yesterday
7. 4.6 block that spun a bearing, needs welding and line boring
8. 4.6 block I picked up as a spare but also needs welding and line boring
9-11. 3 x 3.5 SD1 engines I bought last year in varying states that need inspecting
12. 3.9 SD1 engine in good condition
13 and 14. 3.5 engines ive had for a very long time.

oops that's 14 V8s and also a Rover SD1 2.0 4 potter.
